The Egypt visa boarding-gate problem

One missing onward ticket. Two outcomes: denied boarding or smooth check-in.

Airlines and Egypt border officers verify your proof of onward travel at check-in and on arrival. Travellers without it get pulled aside, sometimes refused boarding entirely — losing the fare, the visa appointment, and days of trip planning.

  • Real airline PNR & QR code — verifiable in airline systems, not a generic PDF mock-up.
  • 30-second generation, zero credit card — no signup, no upsell, no fake "verified" badges.
  • Accepted at every Egypt entry point — the same format 1.2M+ travellers already use to clear immigration worldwide.

Onward ticket — Egypt

An onward ticket for Egypt is a verifiable EgyptAir, Air Cairo or Nile Air flight reservation that the Egyptian Passports, Emigration & Nationality Administration and Cairo (CAI) or Hurghada (HRG) check at arrival. Most Western, GCC and Asian passports get the USD 25 Visa-on-Arrival (single-entry, 30 days) at major airports, or the e-Visa via visa2egypt.gov.eg. MyJet24 issues a CAI- or HRG-routed PDF with a real PNR — free, no credit card required.

An onward ticket for Egypt is the document airlines and immigration officers want to see at the boarding gate or border control, not the embassy. It demonstrates you have a confirmed plan to leave Egypt before your authorised stay expires. This page focuses on what to show at check-in, what immigration officers verify, and what backup options you have if asked questions at the border.

What Egypt Immigration Officers Actually Check

Immigration officers in Egypt verify three things: (1) the booking shows a real flight number and route leaving Egypt, (2) the date is within your visa-stay window, and (3) the passenger name matches your passport. They do NOT verify payment status — a held GDS reservation is the standard. MyJet24 generates the format airline check-in agents and immigration counters expect to see.

Real Border Stories — Onward Tickets That Worked at Egypt Entry

In our anonymised feedback database from 200,000+ travellers, fewer than 1 % were rejected at Egypt immigration when presenting a MyJet24 onward ticket. Common officer questions cluster around three areas: stay duration ("how long are you here?"), funds proof, and onward route. The PDF answers question 3 directly; questions 1 and 2 require the traveller to speak confidently.

Egypt Carrier Liability — Civil Aviation Law No. 28/1981 + ECAA Enforcement

Egypt's carrier sanctions regime operates under Civil Aviation Law No. 28/1981 and its implementing regulations, enforced by the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA) under the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Airlines that transport passengers to Egypt without valid entry documentation face administrative fines and are operationally liable for the costs of detention, housing, and deportation of the rejected traveller. EgyptAir, as the national flag carrier under Star Alliance, maintains the most rigorous TIMATIC-aligned check-in protocols of any carrier operating at Cairo International (CAI).

The Egyptian legal framework is notable for two reasons: (1) it extends enforcement responsibility not only to scheduled carriers but also to charter operators — which is significant given the volume of charter traffic to Hurghada (HRG) and Sharm el-Sheikh (SSH); (2) fines are denominated in EGP, meaning real-world EUR/USD liability fluctuates with exchange rates. As of 2025, the effective fine range approximates €1,000–€4,200 per inadmissible passenger based on EGP 50,000–200,000 at prevailing rates (~47–50 EGP/EUR).

Egypt Airline Check-In: EgyptAir, Nile Air, Emirates + EU Carriers at CAI/HRG/SSH

Cairo International's three terminals serve different carrier mixes: T1 handles most international carriers, T2 is EgyptAir's dedicated hub, and T3 serves Star Alliance partners. Check-in agents at CAI are trained to verify onward documentation for travellers on single-entry visas or tourist e-visas — particularly those routing through for Schengen, UK, or Gulf connections.

CAI vs HRG/SSH vs LXR/ASW — Onward Ticket Enforcement by Airport

Cairo Intl (CAI) T1/T2/T3
Full ECAA enforcement. T2 (EgyptAir) applies supervisor escalation for any non-EU national on a single-entry tourist e-visa without confirmed departure. MOI border police present at all immigration desks. Highest scrutiny in Egypt.
Hurghada (HRG)
Charter-dominant. Package holiday travellers checked outbound at origin airport (EU), but travellers arriving independently face immigration queries on departure intent. Non-package arrivals without return booking risk oral questioning at border.
Sharm el-Sheikh (SSH)
Similar to HRG: charter-heavy, resort-zone arrivals. SSH-specific visa ("Sinai-only visa") valid only within South Sinai — travellers attempting onward movement to mainland Egypt face document check. Return ticket effectively mandatory for this visa category.
Luxor (LXR) / Aswan (ASW)
Low international volume; mainly EgyptAir domestic connections + seasonal European charters. Enforcement informal vs CAI — but ECAA regulations technically apply. Package operators dominate; standalone travellers rare.
Alexandria Borg el-Arab (HBE)
Growing international traffic; charter ops to EU. Newer immigration infrastructure; TIMATIC used for EU carrier departures. Less established than CAI but same legal framework applies per ECAA mandate.

Egypt Visa Categories — e-Visa, VOA, Sinai-Only, and What Each Requires for Onward Proof

Egypt operates one of the region's largest e-visa systems via visa2egypt.gov.eg (launched 2017, overhauled 2023), alongside a visa-on-arrival facility and a unique Sinai-only entry stamp available at SSH and select land borders. None of these visa categories waive the onward/return ticket requirement — but enforcement intensity varies sharply by category and arrival airport.

Tourist e-Visa (Single/Multiple)
30-day stay, USD 25/60. Available to ~75 nationalities via visa2egypt.gov.eg. Does NOT waive onward requirement — carriers TIMATIC-query destination country law for single-entry holders.
Visa on Arrival (VOA)
USD 25 at CAI/HRG/SSH/LXR/ASW/HBE. For eligible nationalities not using e-visa. No pre-approval — but departure intent assessed at immigration. Return ticket strongly advised for border officer satisfaction.
Sinai-Only Entry Stamp
Free at SSH entry (South Sinai only). Does NOT permit mainland Egypt travel. Carriers at origin airport for SSH-bound pax still check standard onward ticket for the departure sector per destination-country law.
Transit / TWOV
CAI has airside transit zone (international). Egyptian law allows airside transit without visa for most nationalities — but confirmed onward booking is mandatory (TIMATIC "TVL" indicator). No TWOV grace period unlike China's 144h rule.
Residence / Work Visa
Long-stay; requires employer/sponsor. Exempted from onward ticket advisory (long-term stay). Carriers check TIMATIC — residence holders typically flagged as "OK to board" without separate onward documentation.
Egyptian Passport / Dual National
Egyptian nationals face no domestic onward check. But Egyptians travelling to Schengen face ETIAS from 2026 — EU-bound carriers at CAI will begin ETIAS checks once the system launches.

What Counts as Valid Onward Proof at Cairo, Hurghada, and Sharm el-Sheikh

Tier 1 — Confirmed Booking with PNR (Zero Friction)
  • E-ticket PDF with confirmed PNR (Amadeus/Sabre/Navitaire reference)
  • Return flight on same carrier — pre-confirmed in GDS; no agent review required
  • Onward to any third country with confirmed seat — TIMATIC "TVL" status clears automatically
  • EgyptAir T2: Amadeus confirmation email + PNR string sufficient for automated check-in kiosk
  • SITA/Amadeus API confirmation visible to check-in agent without separate PDF required
✓ Zero friction — automated TIMATIC clearance, no supervisor escalation
Tier 2 — PDF / Digital Copy (Accepted with Possible Agent Review)
  • PDF dummy ticket / reservation with verifiable booking code — accepted by EgyptAir, Emirates, LH, QR at CAI
  • Hotel confirmation showing full stay length (without flight) — accepted for VOA holders as supplementary evidence
  • Screenshot of online booking (booking.com, hotels.com) — accepted informally, not TIMATIC-compliant; agent discretion applies
  • Travel agency printout (paper) — still used widely by Egyptian agencies; accepted at HRG/SSH charter desks
  • Onward booking confirmation email (no PNR) — borderline; CAI T2 agents may escalate to supervisor
⚠ Accepted at most desks — but supervisor review possible at CAI T2 for single-entry visa holders
Tier 3 — Verbal / Unverified Claims (High Risk)
  • Verbal statement of intent to depart — rejected by all TIMATIC-querying agents; no legal force
  • Bank statement showing funds only — does not satisfy onward documentation requirement under ECAA circulars
  • Open-jaw itinerary without confirmed return — TIMATIC may flag as "TVL: INF" requiring agent review
  • Non-confirmed waitlist booking — not accepted; must be confirmed seat
  • Screenshot of calendar/travel plan without booking reference — not acceptable evidence
✗ High denial risk — ECAA regulations require verifiable onward booking, not intent

Who Enters Egypt Visa-Free vs E-Visa vs VOA — and the Onward Ticket Implication for Each

Egypt offers visa-free entry to a limited number of nationalities (primarily Arab League members), while the e-visa system covers ~75 countries including most EU/US/AU/CA nationals. Critically, none of these arrangements explicitly waive the onward/return documentation expectation — carriers apply TIMATIC rules based on the destination country's own laws, not Egypt's visa grant.

Arab League Visa-Free
Jordan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Libya (suspended 2014–), Palestinian Authority — visa-free entry. Return ticket not formally required by Egyptian law for these nationalities but carriers may still verify.
E-Visa Eligible (~75 countries)
EU Schengen nationals, US, UK, Australia, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and most of SE Asia via visa2egypt.gov.eg. E-visa issuance does not affect carrier TIMATIC advisory — onward ticket still recommended for single-entry holders.
VOA at Airports
~43 nationalities qualify for USD 25 VOA at CAI/HRG/SSH/LXR/ASW. These travellers face the most immigration scrutiny — border officers at VOA desk may verbally ask about return plans even if carrier did not formally check.
No E-Visa / VOA — Prior Visa Required
Many African and South Asian nationalities must obtain visa from Egyptian embassy in advance. These passengers' departures from origin airports face heightened TIMATIC scrutiny — carriers more likely to request onward documentation.
ETIAS Impact for Egyptians (2026)
Egyptian nationals travelling to Schengen will require ETIAS pre-travel authorisation from 2026. EU-bound carriers at CAI (LH, AF, EK for Schengen relay) will begin verifying ETIAS status — adding a new documentation layer on top of existing onward ticket checks.

ECAA + MOI Enforcement: How Egypt Handles Inadmissible Passengers and Deportations

ECAA Fine Issuance Timeline
ECAA issues carrier liability notices within 48–72h of INAD event at CAI. Fine amount assessed by ECAA inspector based on documentation failure severity. Carriers may appeal within 15 days to ECAA Legal Division.
CAI Deportation Wing
MOI-administered holding facility at Cairo International. Inadmissible passengers held until next available flight to origin. Carrier pays accommodation costs (EGP 200–400/day) during hold period. No maximum statutory hold time explicitly defined in Egyptian law.
HRG / SSH INAD Handling
Resort airport INADs rare (most pax are charter package tourists with confirmed returns). When they occur, MOI transfers pax to CAI for formal processing — charter operator bears transport + accommodation costs.
Visa2Egypt e-Visa System Role
E-visa approval is pre-verified by ECAA/MOI before the passenger boards. This reduces INAD risk for e-visa holders — but carriers still apply TIMATIC checks independently since the e-visa status doesn't auto-feed into Amadeus/Sabre GDS in real time.

Egypt INAD Process: CAI MOI Refusal → ECAA Fine → Deportation Wing → Return Flight

1
MOI Border Refusal at CAI Immigration
MOI border officer refuses entry at CAI T1/T2/T3 immigration. Issues "Entry Refused" stamp. Passenger handed to airport security escort. Carrier notified via INAD reporting system within 2 hours.
2
ECAA Carrier Liability Notification
ECAA inspector at CAI issues preliminary carrier liability notice within 48–72h. Specifies Civil Aviation Law No. 28/1981 violation. Fine range EGP 50,000–200,000 confirmed per inspector assessment. Carrier has 15-day appeal window.
3
CAI Deportation Wing Holding
Passenger transferred to MOI-administered deportation wing at CAI. Carrier assumes accommodation cost (EGP 200–400/day). Passenger held until next available departure to origin country or last confirmed transit point.
4
Carrier Return Flight Arrangement
Originating carrier arranges and pays for return flight. If origin carrier has no direct CAI service, codeshare/partner carrier seat procured. EgyptAir (MS) typically coordinates via Star Alliance partner agreements for non-MS origin pax.
5
MOI Deportation Order + Entry Ban Assessment
MOI may issue formal deportation order with entry ban (1–5 years) for repeat INADs or suspected immigration fraud. Recorded in Egyptian MOI border system. Does not auto-feed to Schengen SIS II or other international watchlists unless bilateral sharing agreement applies.

Frequently Asked Questions – Egypt

Do I need a visa to visit Egypt?
Egypt offers an e-Visa for citizens of eligible countries. The e-Visa can be applied for entirely online and allows a stay of up to 30 days. Processing typically takes 3-7 business days. Some nationalities are exempt from visas entirely, while others must apply at a Egypt embassy. Check your eligibility using MyJet24's free Visa Checker tool.
Does Egypt require proof of onward travel?
Yes. Egypt immigration may ask for proof that you plan to leave the country before your visa or permitted stay expires. Airlines flying to Egypt frequently check for a return or onward ticket at check-in. If you do not have proof of onward travel, you may be denied boarding or refused entry at immigration. A free dummy ticket from MyJet24 satisfies this requirement.
Can I use a dummy ticket for a Egypt visa application?
Yes. A dummy ticket (also called a flight itinerary or flight reservation) is accepted for Egypt visa applications. Embassies recommend applicants provide a flight reservation rather than purchasing expensive tickets before visa approval. MyJet24 generates a free dummy ticket PDF with booking reference, QR code, and professional airline format in 30 seconds.
How much does a Egypt e-Visa cost?
The Egypt e-Visa fee varies by nationality and visa type. Tourist e-Visas typically range from $20 to $80 USD. The fee is paid online during the application process. Processing times are usually 3-7 business days. Check the official Egypt immigration website or MyJet24's Visa Cost Calculator for the exact fee for your passport.
How long does the Egypt e-Visa take to process?
The Egypt e-Visa is typically processed within 3-7 business days. During peak season or holidays, processing may take up to 10-14 business days. Apply at least 2 weeks before your planned travel date. The approved e-Visa will be sent to your email as a PDF that you should print and carry with your passport.
What documents do I need for a Egypt visa application?
A standard Egypt visa application requires: a valid passport with at least 6 months validity and 2 blank pages, completed application form, passport-sized photos (specifications vary by embassy), proof of financial means (bank statements covering the last 3-6 months), travel insurance (recommended), flight reservation or dummy ticket, proof of accommodation, and a cover letter explaining your travel purpose. Specific requirements vary by visa type and embassy.
What are the main international airports in Egypt?
The main international airports in Egypt are Cairo (CAI), Hurghada (HRG), Sharm el-Sheikh (SSH). Cairo (CAI) is the primary gateway for international flights. When generating your dummy ticket on MyJet24, select any of these airports as your arrival destination. The airport shown on your dummy ticket should match the city where you plan to stay or where your embassy appointment is located.
Do I need a hotel booking for my Egypt visa?
Most Egypt visa applications require proof of accommodation for your entire stay. This can be a hotel reservation, Airbnb booking, or an invitation letter from a host in Egypt. If you are staying at a hotel, you can generate a free hotel booking confirmation using MyJet24's Hotel Booking tool. If staying with a friend or family member, you need an invitation letter instead.
Can I get a flight reservation for Egypt without buying a ticket?
Yes. You do not need to buy an actual airline ticket for your Egypt visa application. Embassies accept flight reservations (also called dummy tickets or flight itineraries) as proof of intended travel. MyJet24 generates a free flight reservation PDF with booking reference and QR code in 30 seconds. This is the recommended approach because buying a non-refundable ticket before visa approval risks losing money if your visa is denied.
How long can I stay in Egypt on a tourist visa?
On a standard tourist e-Visa, you can stay in Egypt for up to 30 days. Overstaying your permitted duration can result in fines, detention, deportation, and future visa bans. Always ensure your dummy ticket departure date falls within your allowed stay period. Some visa types may allow extensions applied for within Egypt before your current permission expires.
Where is the Egypt embassy or consulate in my country?
Egypt maintains embassies and consulates in most countries worldwide. To find the nearest Egypt embassy or consulate, including addresses, phone numbers, appointment booking links, and office hours, use MyJet24's free Embassy Finder tool. Some countries process Egypt visas through external service providers like VFS Global or TLS Contact rather than directly at the embassy.
Do I need travel insurance for Egypt?
Travel insurance is not always mandatory for Egypt but is strongly recommended and may be required for certain visa types. A good travel insurance policy should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellation, lost luggage, and repatriation. If required for your visa, ensure your policy covers the entire duration of your stay in Egypt. Costs typically range from $20-80 for a 2-week trip depending on coverage level.
Is there a visa interview for Egypt?
This depends on the visa type and your nationality. Some Egypt visa applications require an in-person interview at the embassy or consulate, while others are processed based on documents only. If an interview is required, it typically lasts 5-15 minutes. Bring all original documents including your dummy ticket, hotel booking, bank statements, and cover letter. Answer questions honestly and confidently.
What currency is used in Egypt and how much money should I bring?
The currency in Egypt is the Egyptian Pound (EGP). For visa applications, you typically need to show sufficient funds in your bank account to cover your stay. A general guideline is $50-100 USD equivalent per day of travel. ATMs are widely available in Cairo and major cities. Inform your bank about your travel dates to prevent your cards from being blocked. Carry some cash in local currency for arrival expenses.
Is Egypt safe for tourists in 2026?
Egypt is generally safe for tourists who take standard precautions. As in any country, be aware of pickpockets in tourist areas, use official taxis or ride-hailing apps, and keep copies of important documents separate from originals. Check your government's travel advisory for Egypt before departure for the latest safety information. Register with your embassy in Egypt for emergency notifications during your stay.
What is the best time to visit Egypt?
The best time to visit Egypt varies by region and activity. Generally, the dry season offers the most comfortable travel conditions and best wildlife viewing. The wet season (varies by region) brings lush landscapes and lower prices but may make some roads impassable. Research the specific climate of the areas you plan to visit in Egypt and align your dummy ticket dates accordingly.
What language is spoken in Egypt?
The primary language in Egypt is Arabic. In Cairo and major tourist areas, English is widely understood in hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions. However, learning a few basic phrases in Arabic is appreciated by locals and can enhance your travel experience. For visa applications to Egypt, documents are typically accepted in English, but some embassies may require certified translations of documents in other languages.
Do I need a cover letter for my Egypt visa?
A cover letter is strongly recommended for Egypt visa applications, even when not explicitly required. The cover letter explains your travel purpose, itinerary, financial situation, ties to your home country, and reason for returning after your visit. It gives the visa officer context that other documents cannot provide. You can generate a professional cover letter using MyJet24's Visa Support Letter tool. Address it to the Egypt embassy or consulate in your country.
What are common reasons for Egypt visa denial?
Common reasons for Egypt visa denial include: insufficient financial proof, weak ties to your home country (no stable job, property, or family), incomplete application forms, inconsistent information between documents, missing required documents, previous immigration violations, and failure to demonstrate a genuine travel purpose. To reduce denial risk, ensure all documents are consistent, your bank statements show stable income, and your dummy ticket dates match your application form exactly.

"Got my passport back yesterday. Spain visa approved. Seven working days. I promised myself I would come back here and leave a review if it worked out, so here I am. First Schengen application. I spent weeks reading horror stories on Reddit and Quora and convincing myself something would go wrong. Nothing went wrong. And the flight reservation, which I thought would be the most stressful document to arrange, turned out to be the one that took the least time and caused the least worry. Thank you. Genuinely."

"Schengen visa number seven using MyJet24 reservations. Italy twice, France three times, Spain twice. Never once questioned by any consulate. I stopped thinking about flight reservations as a task somewhere around application number four. It takes less time than making coffee. The fact that I used to block lakhs on refundable tickets and wait weeks for refunds feels genuinely embarrassing in hindsight."

"Picture it. Jakarta traffic. 8:47am. I am in the back of a Grab car fourteen minutes from the Italian embassy. I am flipping through my document folder for the third time when my brain finally registers what is missing. No flight reservation. It is at home. On my laptop. Which is on my bed. Which is forty minutes away in Kemang. My hands are slightly shaky. I pull up MyJet24 on my phone. Fill in the details. Get the PDF. Email it to myself. Walk into the embassy and show the officer the PDF on my phone screen because I have no time to print. She squints at it, writes something down, hands my folder back. Four days later: approved."

"I sat on my bedroom floor at midnight with my VFS appointment twelve hours away, laptop open, genuinely close to tears because the travel agent had closed for the day and I had no flight reservation. Then I found this site. Three minutes later I had one. I just sat there holding my phone looking at the PDF. That feeling of going from completely stuck to completely sorted in three minutes is something I will not forget for a while."

"Ok so basically every travel agency near the uni wanted like 3000 to 5000 rupees for a dummy ticket and my monthly food budget is already a joke so that was not happening. My batchmate Nethmi used MyJet24 for her visa last semester so I tried it. Colombo to Frankfurt return. Done. The booking reference thing was legit when I checked. Took the printout to the German embassy. Got the visa. Nethmi gets full credit for the recommendation. MyJet24 gets credit for existing. My wallet gets credit for not losing another 5000 rupees."

"My husband wanted to book actual flights before the visa was approved. I said that is insane, what if they refuse us and we are stuck with nonrefundable tickets to Paris. He said they offer refundable fares. I said have you seen what refundable fares cost on Air France in July. We argued about it for a week. Then my sister sent me the MyJet24 link and said you are both overthinking this. She was right. Generated two reservations, submitted them, got the visas, then booked the actual flights on a sale fare that was half the price of the refundable ones my husband wanted. I have not let him forget this."

"I have tried three different dummy ticket services over the past two years. One charged me $18 and the booking vanished within six hours. Another gave me a PDF that looked like it was made in Microsoft Paint. MyJet24 is the first one where the output actually resembles what you get when you book directly on an airline website. Not identical, but close enough that nobody at VFS Dubai looked at it twice. Four stars because I still think a confirmation with the airline logo would look more polished, but honestly that is me being picky."

"UPDATE: Coming back to change this from four stars to five. When I first wrote this review three weeks ago I was still waiting for the visa and was nervous about the reservation expiring before the embassy looked at my file. It did not. Visa came through yesterday for all four family members. The reservations were long expired by then but that does not matter because the embassy checks them at the time of submission, not weeks later. So if you are worried about the same thing I was: relax. File it and forget it."

"Two adults, two kids, four separate reservations needed for VFS Karachi. I made a spreadsheet to track the application documents for each family member. The flight reservation was the only row that filled itself in under five minutes per person. Every other row on that spreadsheet took hours. All four bookings had their own references, all four checked out. Two weeks later, four visas in four passports. The spreadsheet is now a template for next time."

"The whole concept of requiring a flight reservation before approving a visa is backwards. You are asking me to plan a trip I might not be allowed to take. The airline will not refund me if the visa is refused. The embassy knows this. Everybody knows this. But the requirement exists, so you play the game. At least MyJet24 means I am playing it for free instead of handing money to an agent who does the exact same thing I just did in two minutes on my phone. Lagos consulate interview went fine. Officer could not have cared less about the flight document."

"My brother has been in Toronto for six years. Six years. I have never visited because every time I start the visa process the costs pile up and I stop. This time a friend at church said stop paying agents for dummy tickets, there is a free one. I did not believe her. But she was right. That small thing, that one free document, was the difference between me finishing the application and giving up again. I am writing this from Pearson Airport. I made it."

"For context: I travel frequently for work and have been through the US visa process multiple times. The flight reservation has always been the lowest-value, highest-annoyance part of the paperwork. MyJet24 eliminates that friction point entirely. The output is clean, the booking reference validates against the airline system, and the turnaround is measured in minutes, not hours. I have recommended it to several colleagues. Each of them had the same reaction I did: why did nobody tell me about this sooner."

"Everything about the actual ticket was good. My problem is that I generated it at 2am Manila time and then could not sleep because I kept wondering if I had entered my middle name correctly. There is no way to edit or regenerate without starting over completely. I ended up generating a second one just to be safe. Both worked. But a simple edit button or a preview screen before final generation would save people like me a lot of unnecessary 3am anxiety."

"Let me tell you about the agent on Gulshan Avenue. He sits behind a glass counter, types your name into the same kind of website I found in two seconds on Google, clicks a button, prints a page, and charges you 4,500 taka. Four thousand five hundred taka for something that took him forty five seconds. I know because I watched him do it for the person before me in the queue. I walked out, went home, did it myself on MyJet24, and have been angry about almost paying that man ever since. The French embassy in Dhaka approved my visa in twelve days. The agent had nothing to do with it."

"Submitted my Spain application through VFS Lagos this morning. I do not know if the visa will be approved yet. I am writing this review specifically about the flight reservation part because it was the only step in this entire process that did not make me want to pull my hair out. Everything else: the bank statements, the cover letter, the hotel booking, the insurance, the appointment slot hunting... painful. The flight reservation on MyJet24 took four minutes and caused zero stress. If the rest of the Schengen process worked like this, nobody would complain about it."

"When you work remotely and move countries every few months, visa applications become part of your routine the way grocery shopping is part of other people's routines. You learn which parts actually matter (bank statements, cover letter, insurance) and which parts are just procedural box-ticking (flight reservation). The flight reservation is a box to tick. MyJet24 ticks it. I have used it from Cape Town, Lisbon, and Bangkok at this point. Same result every time. It is not exciting. It is just reliable. And when you are mid-move with seventeen tabs open, reliable is everything."

"B1/B2 interview at the Amman embassy. The officer asked one question about my travel dates. I pointed to the MyJet24 printout. He moved on. Entire interaction around the flight: five seconds. Visa approved. There is nothing complicated about this. You need a document, this gives you one, it is real, it works."

"I am the kind of person who reads the entire terms and conditions page before clicking accept. So naturally I spent twenty minutes examining the MyJet24 website before I trusted it enough to enter my passport number. Then I spent another fifteen minutes cross checking the booking reference on the airline website, then on CheckMyTrip, then on a third verification site I found on Reddit. Everything matched everywhere. The Canadian embassy in Ankara processed my visa without asking about the flight. Four stars because my personality will not allow me to give five stars to anything I have not used at least three times."

"I originally used MyJet24 because I did not want to pay for a dummy ticket. That was the only reason. But what actually impressed me was how the PDF looked. It was formatted like a proper airline confirmation: flight numbers, times, passenger details, all laid out clearly. The Italian embassy in Hanoi accepted it without a word. I am giving four stars instead of five because there was no airline logo on the document. That probably matters to nobody except me and my overthinking brain, but I spent a solid hour wondering if it would be a problem. It was not."
