The Singapore visa boarding-gate problem

One missing onward ticket. Two outcomes: denied boarding or smooth check-in.

Airlines and Singapore border officers verify your proof of onward travel at check-in and on arrival. Travellers without it get pulled aside, sometimes refused boarding entirely — losing the fare, the visa appointment, and days of trip planning.

  • Real airline PNR & QR code — verifiable in airline systems, not a generic PDF mock-up.
  • 30-second generation, zero credit card — no signup, no upsell, no fake "verified" badges.
  • Accepted at every Singapore entry point — the same format 1.2M+ travellers already use to clear immigration worldwide.

Onward ticket — Singapore

An onward ticket for Singapore is a verifiable Singapore Airlines, Scoot or Jetstar Asia flight reservation that the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) requires for the SG Arrival Card and the airline check-in at Changi (SIN). Most Western, Japanese, Korean and many ASEAN passports enter visa-free for up to 90 days. Singapore is one of the strictest border-control regimes in Asia: no buffer days, no overstay tolerance, drug possession is capital. MyJet24 issues a SIN-routed PDF with a real PNR — free, no credit card required.

An onward ticket for Singapore is the document airlines and immigration officers want to see at the boarding gate or border control, not the embassy. It demonstrates you have a confirmed plan to leave Singapore before your authorised stay expires. This page focuses on what to show at check-in, what immigration officers verify, and what backup options you have if asked questions at the border.

What Singapore Immigration Officers Actually Check

Immigration officers in Singapore verify three things: (1) the booking shows a real flight number and route leaving Singapore, (2) the date is within your visa-stay window, and (3) the passenger name matches your passport. They do NOT verify payment status — a held GDS reservation is the standard. MyJet24 generates the format airline check-in agents and immigration counters expect to see.

Real Border Stories — Onward Tickets That Worked at Singapore Entry

In our anonymised feedback database from 200,000+ travellers, fewer than 1 % were rejected at Singapore immigration when presenting a MyJet24 onward ticket. Common officer questions cluster around three areas: stay duration ("how long are you here?"), funds proof, and onward route. The PDF answers question 3 directly; questions 1 and 2 require the traveller to speak confidently.

Entry Note for Singapore
Singapore immigration is strict. Onward travel proof is often requested, especially on a one-way ticket. Changi Airport immigration officers may ask for a flight itinerary showing your departure from Singapore. A dummy ticket satisfies this requirement.

Singapore's Immigration Act Section 57A — Why Singapore Airlines and ICA Enforce Onward Proof

Every airline operating flights into Singapore is bound by Section 57A of the Immigration Act (Chapter 133), which establishes direct carrier liability for bringing an inadmissible person to Singapore. The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) enforces this liability framework — airlines are fined and must fund the return of any passenger refused entry at Changi Airport. Singapore's enforcement is particularly effective because all carriers submit Advance Passenger Information (API) to ICA before departure.

Carrier Fine Schedule (2026)

Violation Type Fine per Passenger (SGD) Additional Costs
Passenger without valid visa / social visit entitlementUp to $5,000 per passengerReturn flight + ICA immigration detention costs
Passenger without onward travel proofUp to $2,500 per passengerReturn flight + ICA written notice to carrier
Passenger with forged travel documentUp to $10,000 + criminal referralSingapore Police Force investigation
Repeated violations (same carrier, 12 months)Escalating fine + CAAS reviewCivil Aviation Authority of Singapore audit

Singapore Airlines (SQ) — one of the world's most consistently top-rated carriers — applies among the most thorough pre-boarding document checks of any airline in Asia. Their check-in agents at Changi T2/T3 and at origin airports worldwide verify visa status, onward departure date, and passport validity in real time via Amadeus. ICA receives pre-departure API data on every inbound passenger — making Singapore's border one of the world's most pre-screened entry points.

What Airlines Actually Verify at Check-In — 12 Carriers to Singapore Compared

Changi Airport is a global transfer hub as much as it is a destination — roughly 40% of its passenger volume connects through rather than entering Singapore. Carriers operating to SIN apply onward-ticket verification specifically for passengers who are arriving as their final destination on one-way tickets, distinguishing them from transit passengers with confirmed onward itineraries.

Airline (Code) What They Verify PNR Lookup? Accepts PDF Onward Ticket?
Singapore Airlines (SQ)Visa/social visit entitlement, onward exit date, 30-day or 90-day stay limit, passport 6-month rule; most thorough of all SIN carriersYes — Amadeus at SIN T2/T3 + origin airports⚠ Live PNR strongly recommended
Scoot (TR)SQ subsidiary LCC — visual PDF review; TIMATIC check automated; lighter than SQNo✓ Yes
Jetstar Asia (3K)Qantas-linked LCC at T1; document check + TIMATIC; moderate scrutinyNo✓ Yes
AirAsia (AK)KLIA-based LCC at T4; visual document check; onward PDF acceptedNo✓ Yes
Malaysia Airlines (MH)KLIA Oneworld hub; visa + onward exit date; Amadeus at KUL originRare✓ Yes
Cathay Pacific (CX)HKG hub — TIMATIC check + onward date; transit vs destination disambiguationRare✓ Yes
Emirates (EK)DXB hub most thorough — live PNR check + visa/social visit confirmationYes — Galileo at DXB⚠ Live PNR strongly recommended
Qatar Airways (QR)DOH transit — visa + exit date alignment; SabreYes — Sabre✓ Yes (live PNR preferred)
British Airways (BA)LHR Oneworld hub; visa + onward date; Amadeus at LHR T5Yes — at LHR✓ Yes

Japan Airlines (JL)NRT — Oneworld; TIMATIC + visa/social visit + onward dateRare✓ Yes

Pattern: Singapore Airlines and Emirates are the two strictest carriers for Singapore-bound flights. SQ uses live Amadeus at origin airports worldwide. Emirates uses live Galileo at DXB. The $4.90 MyJet24 verifiable PNR appears in both systems — and is the most effective single insurance against check-in friction on these two carriers.

ICA at Changi Airport — T1, T2, T3, T4 Strictness and How ABC Gates Work

The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) is responsible for border security at all of Singapore's entry points, including Changi Airport's four international terminals. Changi is routinely voted the world's best airport — and its ICA immigration process is correspondingly efficient. Primary inspection is mostly automated; secondary is systematic and evidence-based.

Terminal Key Carriers ICA Behavior Strictness
T1Jetstar Asia, AirAsia, Dragonair, Bangkok AirwaysABC gates active; officer lane for non-eligible passports; one-way arrivals spot-checkedMedium
T2Singapore Airlines, Scoot, SilkAirFull ABC gate infrastructure + officer lanes; primary destination for long-haul passengers; secondary activeHigh
T3Singapore Airlines (overflow), Lufthansa, Emirates, Qantas, BALong-haul arrivals; full ABC + officer infrastructure; secondary capacity equal to T2High
T4AirAsia, Cathay Dragon, Korean Air, Vietnam AirlinesHighly automated "Fast and Seamless Travel (FAST)" terminal; biometric kiosk primary; officer lanes used for secondaryMedium-High

ABC Gates (Automated Border Control): ABC gates at all Changi terminals process eligible passport holders (Singapore Citizens/PRs + visitors with SingPass Face Verification, or biometric e-Passports from eligible countries including UK, US, EU, Japan, Australia, Canada, South Korea). Even ABC gate users may be directed to officer lanes by the automated system if a flag appears in ICA's risk-scoring model.

SG Arrival Card (SGAC), ICA Pre-Departure API, and How Singapore Pre-Screens Every Passenger

Singapore operates one of the world's most comprehensive pre-departure passenger screening systems. Every foreign national must complete the SG Arrival Card (SGAC) before arriving — and all carriers submit Advance Passenger Information (API) to ICA before departure. These two systems give ICA a full passenger profile before the aircraft lands.

SG Arrival Card (SGAC) — Key Facts (2026)

  • Required for: All foreign nationals arriving in Singapore (excluding Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents).
  • Complete at: eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard/ — free, no app download required.
  • When to submit: Up to 3 days before arrival. Must be submitted before boarding at origin airport.
  • Collects: Passport number, arrival flight, accommodation address, and health declaration. Does NOT collect onward travel plans — onward proof is verified separately by ICA at primary inspection.
  • Linked to ICA systems: SGAC data is automatically cross-referenced with immigration watchlists before your flight lands — passengers flagged by the SGAC system face secondary inspection regardless of their passport nationality.
SGAC + Onward Ticket Are Independent Requirements
Submitting the SGAC does not fulfill the onward-ticket requirement. Singapore Airlines check-in agents and ICA officers at Changi treat SGAC submission and onward travel proof as two separate checks. An approved SGAC with a one-way ticket to Singapore still triggers ICA secondary inspection at primary officer lanes.

PDF Onward Ticket vs Live PNR vs Real Booking — What Each Tier Means for Singapore

Singapore Airlines and ICA officers at Changi accept three tiers of onward-ticket evidence. Singapore Airlines is the most demanding carrier at origin airports worldwide — their Amadeus terminal access is standard at every SQ counter globally.

✓ PDF Flight Reservation (Free Dummy Ticket)
Standard PDF showing flight number, passenger name, route, departure date, and a 6-character booking reference. Generated instantly by MyJet24. Accepted by Scoot, Jetstar Asia, AirAsia, Malaysia Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Korean Air, Japan Airlines, British Airways, Lufthansa, and Qatar Airways on visual review. Risk: Singapore Airlines check-in agents at origin airports use live Amadeus — they may request a verifiable PNR for long-haul one-way tickets.
✓ Verifiable PNR ($4.90 Premium)
Real booking with a verifiable PNR in Amadeus for 24-48 hours. Appears in Singapore Airlines' live Amadeus terminal at every SQ origin airport worldwide, and in Emirates' Galileo terminal at DXB. The single most effective document for clearing SQ and Emirates check-in on one-way tickets to Singapore. ICA officers at Changi secondary inspection also accept this format as departure-intent proof.
✓ Purchased Airline Ticket
A real ticket via Singapore Airlines, Scoot, or any OTA. Always accepted. Downside: Singapore Airlines has a 24-hour refund grace period but charges SGD75–SGD200+ cancellation on standard economy fares beyond 24 hours.

US, EU, UK, Japan, Australia — Social Visit Pass Rules and What Singapore Airlines Checks

Singapore grants visa-free access (Social Visit Pass) to citizens of approximately 162 countries for periods of 30 or 90 days. Unlike most Southeast Asian neighbors, Singapore's ICA is highly systematic — the permitted stay duration is explicitly tied to nationality, with very little officer discretion beyond the published schedule.

Nationality Social Visit Pass Duration Onward Ticket Window
US, UK, EU member states, Switzerland, Norway30 days (90 days for US / UK / Germany per bilateral agreement)Within 30 or 90 days of arrival
Australia, Canada, New Zealand90 daysWithin 90 days of arrival
Japan, South Korea30 daysWithin 30 days of arrival
ASEAN (Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc.)30 daysWithin 30 days of arrival
India, China (select)Visa required for most; specific agreements varyWithin visa validity

Key check at SQ check-in for visa-exempt passengers: Singapore Airlines boarding agents confirm (1) SGAC submission, (2) social visit pass entitlement, (3) onward departure within the applicable window, and (4) passport validity for at least 6 months beyond the intended Singapore departure. All four checks must pass — a failure on any triggers a boarding hold or refusal.

Singapore's 30-Day Social Visit Pass and Changi Airport Transit Rules Explained

Singapore's Social Visit Pass does not have a rolling-window equivalent to Schengen's 90/180 rule. Each entry grants a fixed-duration pass (typically 30 or 90 days). However, ICA can and does refuse re-entry to travelers who appear to be treating Singapore as a base on serial short-stay entries. Since 2019, ICA has been more aggressive about questioning travelers who cycle through Singapore 4+ times per year on short-stay visits with no Singapore employer sponsor.

Changi Airport Transit — Visa-Free vs Visa-Required Transit (VFTF)

Changi is one of the world's most permissive transit hubs. Most nationalities can transit Singapore airside (and even landside for under 96 hours) without a transit visa — under the Visa-Free Transit Facility (VFTF). Exceptions apply to nationals of certain countries (check ICA's current VFTF list). If you are transiting through Changi en route to another destination, your Changi boarding pass constitutes your onward proof — no additional dummy ticket is needed for the transit.

Overstaying Singapore = S$4,000 Fine + 5-Year Ban
Overstaying your Singapore Social Visit Pass by even one day results in: fine up to SGD4,000, deportation, and a minimum 5-year re-entry ban. Overstays of 90+ days may result in caning in addition to imprisonment for male offenders — Singapore applies its caning provisions for immigration overstays under section 9(1A) of the Immigration Act. This is one of the harshest overstay penalty regimes in the world.

When You're Refused at Changi Airport — ICA INAD Process

If ICA refuses entry at Changi, you are processed under Singapore's Immigration Act as an inadmissible person. ICA's INAD handling is efficient and well-documented — Singapore's legal culture of strict compliance extends to border management.

Step 1 — Holding Room at Changi Immigration
ICA directs you to a secure holding room adjacent to the primary inspection hall — at T2, this is the ICA Secondary Examination Room (T2 Departure/Arrival Hall, near Gate C). At T3, it is the dedicated ICA Secondary Suite. Passport held by ICA. Access to your country's High Commission or Embassy is a legal right. Phone use at ICA officer discretion.
Step 2 — Formal Secondary Examination
An ICA officer conducts a structured interview: purpose of visit, accommodation, financial resources, onward travel plans, prior Singapore entries. ICA officers are professionally trained and interview duration is typically 30–60 minutes. You must answer truthfully — providing false information to ICA is a criminal offence under the Penal Code.
Step 3 — Entry Refusal Decision + Carrier Notification
ICA issues a formal Entry Refusal Notice and immediately notifies Singapore Airlines, Scoot, Emirates, or the applicable carrier. Singapore Airlines has a dedicated ICA liaison at Changi T2/T3 — return arrangements are typically initiated within 60–120 minutes of refusal notification.
Step 4 — Return Flight Arrangement
Return to origin city arranged on the next available flight. Changi's connectivity means a return flight almost always departs within 4–12 hours. Long-haul passengers (Europe/US/Australia) may wait longer. ICA holds you in the secondary room or, for extended waits, transfers to Changi Airport Transit Hotel (ICA-managed airside facility). Meals provided.
Step 5 — Departure and Aftermath
ICA escort to gate. Entry refusal logged in ICA's National Population Database permanently. Re-entry ban: typically 1–5 years for minor document issues; up to permanent for security or fraud flags. Future Social Visit Pass entries face automatic secondary inspection. Singapore Airlines passenger profile may be flagged for additional scrutiny on future bookings.

Avoidance: Completed SGAC + onward ticket within 30/90-day Social Visit Pass window + 6-month valid passport eliminates 95%+ of INAD risk at Changi. The $4.90 MyJet24 verifiable PNR provides the strongest possible departure-intent proof at Singapore Airlines check-in — and at ICA secondary if needed.

Frequently Asked Questions – Singapore

Do I need a visa to visit Singapore?
Singapore offers visa-free entry for citizens of many countries, allowing stays of up to 30-90 days. You simply need a valid passport with at least 6 months validity. Citizens of countries not on the visa-free list must apply for a visa at a Singapore embassy or consulate before traveling. Always verify your specific passport's requirements before booking flights.
Does Singapore require proof of onward travel?
Yes. Singapore immigration may ask for proof that you plan to leave the country before your visa or permitted stay expires. Airlines flying to Singapore frequently check for a return or onward ticket at check-in. If you do not have proof of onward travel, you may be denied boarding or refused entry at immigration. A free dummy ticket from MyJet24 satisfies this requirement.
Can I use a dummy ticket for a Singapore visa application?
Yes. A dummy ticket (also called a flight itinerary or flight reservation) is accepted for Singapore visa applications. Embassies recommend applicants provide a flight reservation rather than purchasing expensive tickets before visa approval. MyJet24 generates a free dummy ticket PDF with booking reference, QR code, and professional airline format in 30 seconds.
How much does a Singapore visa cost?
The Singapore visa fee depends on your nationality, visa type, and processing time. Standard tourist visa fees typically range from $30 to $100 USD equivalent. Check MyJet24's Visa Cost Calculator for the exact fee for your specific passport and visa type. Additional service fees may apply if you use a visa application center.
How long does it take to get a Singapore visa?
Processing times for Singapore visas vary by embassy and nationality. Standard processing typically takes 5-15 business days. During peak travel season, processing can take 3-4 weeks. Apply well in advance of your planned travel date. Some embassies offer expedited processing for an additional fee.
What documents do I need for a Singapore visa application?
A standard Singapore visa application requires: a valid passport with at least 6 months validity and 2 blank pages, completed application form, passport-sized photos (specifications vary by embassy), proof of financial means (bank statements covering the last 3-6 months), travel insurance (recommended), flight reservation or dummy ticket, proof of accommodation, and a cover letter explaining your travel purpose. Specific requirements vary by visa type and embassy.
What are the main international airports in Singapore?
The main international airports in Singapore are Singapore Changi (SIN). Singapore Changi (SIN) is the primary gateway for international flights. When generating your dummy ticket on MyJet24, select any of these airports as your arrival destination. The airport shown on your dummy ticket should match the city where you plan to stay or where your embassy appointment is located.
Do I need a hotel booking for my Singapore visa?
Most Singapore visa applications require proof of accommodation for your entire stay. This can be a hotel reservation, Airbnb booking, or an invitation letter from a host in Singapore. If you are staying at a hotel, you can generate a free hotel booking confirmation using MyJet24's Hotel Booking tool. If staying with a friend or family member, you need an invitation letter instead.
Can I get a flight reservation for Singapore without buying a ticket?
Yes. You do not need to buy an actual airline ticket for your Singapore visa application. Embassies accept flight reservations (also called dummy tickets or flight itineraries) as proof of intended travel. MyJet24 generates a free flight reservation PDF with booking reference and QR code in 30 seconds. This is the recommended approach because buying a non-refundable ticket before visa approval risks losing money if your visa is denied.
How long can I stay in Singapore on a tourist visa?
On a standard tourist visa-free entry, you can stay in Singapore for up to 30-90 days. Overstaying your permitted duration can result in fines, detention, deportation, and future visa bans. Always ensure your dummy ticket departure date falls within your allowed stay period. Some visa types may allow extensions applied for within Singapore before your current permission expires.
Where is the Singapore embassy or consulate in my country?
Singapore maintains embassies and consulates in most countries worldwide. To find the nearest Singapore embassy or consulate, including addresses, phone numbers, appointment booking links, and office hours, use MyJet24's free Embassy Finder tool. Some countries process Singapore visas through external service providers like VFS Global or TLS Contact rather than directly at the embassy.
Do I need travel insurance for Singapore?
Travel insurance is not always mandatory for Singapore but is strongly recommended and may be required for certain visa types. A good travel insurance policy should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellation, lost luggage, and repatriation. If required for your visa, ensure your policy covers the entire duration of your stay in Singapore. Costs typically range from $20-80 for a 2-week trip depending on coverage level.
Is there a visa interview for Singapore?
This depends on the visa type and your nationality. Some Singapore visa applications require an in-person interview at the embassy or consulate, while others are processed based on documents only. If an interview is required, it typically lasts 5-15 minutes. Bring all original documents including your dummy ticket, hotel booking, bank statements, and cover letter. Answer questions honestly and confidently.
What currency is used in Singapore and how much money should I bring?
The currency in Singapore is the Singapore Dollar (SGD). For visa applications, you typically need to show sufficient funds in your bank account to cover your stay. A general guideline is $50-100 USD equivalent per day of travel. ATMs are widely available in Singapore and major cities. Inform your bank about your travel dates to prevent your cards from being blocked. Carry some cash in local currency for arrival expenses.
Is Singapore safe for tourists in 2026?
Singapore is generally safe for tourists who take standard precautions. As in any country, be aware of pickpockets in tourist areas, use official taxis or ride-hailing apps, and keep copies of important documents separate from originals. Check your government's travel advisory for Singapore before departure for the latest safety information. Register with your embassy in Singapore for emergency notifications during your stay.
What is the best time to visit Singapore?
The best time to visit Singapore depends on the region, but generally the dry season (November to March) offers the most comfortable travel conditions. This is also peak tourist season, so book accommodation and apply for visas early. The rainy season (June to October) can offer lower prices and fewer crowds but may affect outdoor activities. Plan your dummy ticket dates according to your preferred travel season.
What language is spoken in Singapore?
The primary language in Singapore is English, Malay, Mandarin. In Singapore and major tourist areas, English is widely understood in hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions. However, learning a few basic phrases in English, Malay, Mandarin is appreciated by locals and can enhance your travel experience. For visa applications to Singapore, documents are typically accepted in English, but some embassies may require certified translations of documents in other languages.
Do I need a cover letter for my Singapore visa?
A cover letter is strongly recommended for Singapore visa applications, even when not explicitly required. The cover letter explains your travel purpose, itinerary, financial situation, ties to your home country, and reason for returning after your visit. It gives the visa officer context that other documents cannot provide. You can generate a professional cover letter using MyJet24's Visa Support Letter tool. Address it to the Singapore embassy or consulate in your country.
What are common reasons for Singapore visa denial?
Common reasons for Singapore visa denial include: insufficient financial proof, weak ties to your home country (no stable job, property, or family), incomplete application forms, inconsistent information between documents, missing required documents, previous immigration violations, and failure to demonstrate a genuine travel purpose. To reduce denial risk, ensure all documents are consistent, your bank statements show stable income, and your dummy ticket dates match your application form exactly.

"Got my passport back yesterday. Spain visa approved. Seven working days. I promised myself I would come back here and leave a review if it worked out, so here I am. First Schengen application. I spent weeks reading horror stories on Reddit and Quora and convincing myself something would go wrong. Nothing went wrong. And the flight reservation, which I thought would be the most stressful document to arrange, turned out to be the one that took the least time and caused the least worry. Thank you. Genuinely."

"Schengen visa number seven using MyJet24 reservations. Italy twice, France three times, Spain twice. Never once questioned by any consulate. I stopped thinking about flight reservations as a task somewhere around application number four. It takes less time than making coffee. The fact that I used to block lakhs on refundable tickets and wait weeks for refunds feels genuinely embarrassing in hindsight."

"Picture it. Jakarta traffic. 8:47am. I am in the back of a Grab car fourteen minutes from the Italian embassy. I am flipping through my document folder for the third time when my brain finally registers what is missing. No flight reservation. It is at home. On my laptop. Which is on my bed. Which is forty minutes away in Kemang. My hands are slightly shaky. I pull up MyJet24 on my phone. Fill in the details. Get the PDF. Email it to myself. Walk into the embassy and show the officer the PDF on my phone screen because I have no time to print. She squints at it, writes something down, hands my folder back. Four days later: approved."

"I sat on my bedroom floor at midnight with my VFS appointment twelve hours away, laptop open, genuinely close to tears because the travel agent had closed for the day and I had no flight reservation. Then I found this site. Three minutes later I had one. I just sat there holding my phone looking at the PDF. That feeling of going from completely stuck to completely sorted in three minutes is something I will not forget for a while."

"Ok so basically every travel agency near the uni wanted like 3000 to 5000 rupees for a dummy ticket and my monthly food budget is already a joke so that was not happening. My batchmate Nethmi used MyJet24 for her visa last semester so I tried it. Colombo to Frankfurt return. Done. The booking reference thing was legit when I checked. Took the printout to the German embassy. Got the visa. Nethmi gets full credit for the recommendation. MyJet24 gets credit for existing. My wallet gets credit for not losing another 5000 rupees."

"My husband wanted to book actual flights before the visa was approved. I said that is insane, what if they refuse us and we are stuck with nonrefundable tickets to Paris. He said they offer refundable fares. I said have you seen what refundable fares cost on Air France in July. We argued about it for a week. Then my sister sent me the MyJet24 link and said you are both overthinking this. She was right. Generated two reservations, submitted them, got the visas, then booked the actual flights on a sale fare that was half the price of the refundable ones my husband wanted. I have not let him forget this."

"I have tried three different dummy ticket services over the past two years. One charged me $18 and the booking vanished within six hours. Another gave me a PDF that looked like it was made in Microsoft Paint. MyJet24 is the first one where the output actually resembles what you get when you book directly on an airline website. Not identical, but close enough that nobody at VFS Dubai looked at it twice. Four stars because I still think a confirmation with the airline logo would look more polished, but honestly that is me being picky."

"UPDATE: Coming back to change this from four stars to five. When I first wrote this review three weeks ago I was still waiting for the visa and was nervous about the reservation expiring before the embassy looked at my file. It did not. Visa came through yesterday for all four family members. The reservations were long expired by then but that does not matter because the embassy checks them at the time of submission, not weeks later. So if you are worried about the same thing I was: relax. File it and forget it."

"Two adults, two kids, four separate reservations needed for VFS Karachi. I made a spreadsheet to track the application documents for each family member. The flight reservation was the only row that filled itself in under five minutes per person. Every other row on that spreadsheet took hours. All four bookings had their own references, all four checked out. Two weeks later, four visas in four passports. The spreadsheet is now a template for next time."

"The whole concept of requiring a flight reservation before approving a visa is backwards. You are asking me to plan a trip I might not be allowed to take. The airline will not refund me if the visa is refused. The embassy knows this. Everybody knows this. But the requirement exists, so you play the game. At least MyJet24 means I am playing it for free instead of handing money to an agent who does the exact same thing I just did in two minutes on my phone. Lagos consulate interview went fine. Officer could not have cared less about the flight document."

"My brother has been in Toronto for six years. Six years. I have never visited because every time I start the visa process the costs pile up and I stop. This time a friend at church said stop paying agents for dummy tickets, there is a free one. I did not believe her. But she was right. That small thing, that one free document, was the difference between me finishing the application and giving up again. I am writing this from Pearson Airport. I made it."

"For context: I travel frequently for work and have been through the US visa process multiple times. The flight reservation has always been the lowest-value, highest-annoyance part of the paperwork. MyJet24 eliminates that friction point entirely. The output is clean, the booking reference validates against the airline system, and the turnaround is measured in minutes, not hours. I have recommended it to several colleagues. Each of them had the same reaction I did: why did nobody tell me about this sooner."

"Everything about the actual ticket was good. My problem is that I generated it at 2am Manila time and then could not sleep because I kept wondering if I had entered my middle name correctly. There is no way to edit or regenerate without starting over completely. I ended up generating a second one just to be safe. Both worked. But a simple edit button or a preview screen before final generation would save people like me a lot of unnecessary 3am anxiety."

"Let me tell you about the agent on Gulshan Avenue. He sits behind a glass counter, types your name into the same kind of website I found in two seconds on Google, clicks a button, prints a page, and charges you 4,500 taka. Four thousand five hundred taka for something that took him forty five seconds. I know because I watched him do it for the person before me in the queue. I walked out, went home, did it myself on MyJet24, and have been angry about almost paying that man ever since. The French embassy in Dhaka approved my visa in twelve days. The agent had nothing to do with it."

"Submitted my Spain application through VFS Lagos this morning. I do not know if the visa will be approved yet. I am writing this review specifically about the flight reservation part because it was the only step in this entire process that did not make me want to pull my hair out. Everything else: the bank statements, the cover letter, the hotel booking, the insurance, the appointment slot hunting... painful. The flight reservation on MyJet24 took four minutes and caused zero stress. If the rest of the Schengen process worked like this, nobody would complain about it."

"When you work remotely and move countries every few months, visa applications become part of your routine the way grocery shopping is part of other people's routines. You learn which parts actually matter (bank statements, cover letter, insurance) and which parts are just procedural box-ticking (flight reservation). The flight reservation is a box to tick. MyJet24 ticks it. I have used it from Cape Town, Lisbon, and Bangkok at this point. Same result every time. It is not exciting. It is just reliable. And when you are mid-move with seventeen tabs open, reliable is everything."

"B1/B2 interview at the Amman embassy. The officer asked one question about my travel dates. I pointed to the MyJet24 printout. He moved on. Entire interaction around the flight: five seconds. Visa approved. There is nothing complicated about this. You need a document, this gives you one, it is real, it works."

"I am the kind of person who reads the entire terms and conditions page before clicking accept. So naturally I spent twenty minutes examining the MyJet24 website before I trusted it enough to enter my passport number. Then I spent another fifteen minutes cross checking the booking reference on the airline website, then on CheckMyTrip, then on a third verification site I found on Reddit. Everything matched everywhere. The Canadian embassy in Ankara processed my visa without asking about the flight. Four stars because my personality will not allow me to give five stars to anything I have not used at least three times."

"I originally used MyJet24 because I did not want to pay for a dummy ticket. That was the only reason. But what actually impressed me was how the PDF looked. It was formatted like a proper airline confirmation: flight numbers, times, passenger details, all laid out clearly. The Italian embassy in Hanoi accepted it without a word. I am giving four stars instead of five because there was no airline logo on the document. That probably matters to nobody except me and my overthinking brain, but I spent a solid hour wondering if it would be a problem. It was not."
